UAE Leadership Holds High-Level Talks with Kurdistan Regional Government Prime Minister to Boost Bilateral Ties and Regional Peace

The International Diplomacy Conference had been planned by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The International Diplomacy Conference was held in association with Masrour Barzani who is the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.

The International Diplomacy Conference was utilized for discussion of methods of cooperation in fields of mutual interests in the capital of UAE.

The International Diplomacy Conference was conducted under the supervision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum who is the Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai.

I felt the enthusiasm at the International diplomacy conference as discussions centered on strengthening the relationship that has been existing for quite some time now between the UAE and Iraq. Ways to develop economic and socio-developmental ties were discussed to ensure economic development for their people.

Beyond bilateral relations, the leadership reviewed pressing regional developments across the Middle East. UAE officials and the Iraqi Kurdish delegation stressed the imperative of collective diplomatic endeavors to preserve security and foster durable peace throughout the region.

The meeting underscored a shared commitment to regional stability as an essential pillar for sustainable economic development across Arab and neighboring nations.

The diplomatic gathering was attended by a delegation of senior Emirati dignitaries, highlighting Abu Dhabi’s ongoing engagement with Iraqi federal and regional leadership.

Notable attendees included Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi; Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior; and Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group, alongside various ministers and state officials.

This latest interaction reflects the UAE’s proactive diplomatic role in supporting Iraq’s national stability and infrastructure modernization efforts.
